Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for Space Jam 2: A New Legacy. The official trailer comes just two days after the studio canceled its release earlier this week. The short animated teaser features favorites Road Runner Looney Tunes and Wile E. Coyote engaging in their centuries-old rivalry to build intrigue for the main event. The official trailer for Space Jam 2 also comes just one day after the release of the new poster for the long-awaited summer film. The poster features Space Jam’s 2 stars, LeBron James and Bugs Bunny, who stand out with very dramatic lighting and serve as another joke about what awaits them in the official trailer.

Space Jam by Warner Bros

Our immediate reaction after watching this trailer? Space Jam 2 will be full and not just in action. Immerse yourself in another object from the Warner Bros. vault. (Includes references to franchises like Game of Thrones and Mad Max: Fury Road, as well as cameos from the famous King Kong and Pennywise the Clown from IT ?!) Offers twice as many Easter cakes as its predecessors. Additionally, we saw James in tonality as well as our first look at Tune Squad in a more realistic, animated light. (Bugs Bunny has real fur!) Space Jam 2 is definitely bigger and does a lot more with each level, and we’ll stick with the remix of this theme song for the rest of the day.

Space Jam 2 has an excellent cast. Together with the classic James and Tune Squad you know and love, Sonequa Martin-Green, Don Don Cheadle, Xosha Roquemore, and newcomer Cedric Joe will play the sequel to 1996’s Space Jam.Space Jam: A New Legacy Will, directed by Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip). He directed it from a script by Juel Taylor & Tony Rettenmaier & Keenan Coogler & Terence Nance.
